dont let the huge 1/2 drive breaker bar come off the bolt under all your strength and bash you in the eyebrow. cuz you wont have a good time and you will end up with a huge bloody gash in your face. also it really really really hurts.

Ouch, that sounds painful. I have a few Percocets left over from when I messed up my back this winter, I'd gladly share a few. I just had three tonight after working cleaning the house, because my back and knee are still get very sore when I'm bending and getting up and down all day. At the moment, I'm feeling pretty good. I just hope I can get some sleep, as these pills really make it difficult to shut down and get some rest, oddly enough.

The worst part was because they were babies, their bodies were nigh indestructible. It was all I could do but try my best to shake them off.

I was once up on a ladder tearing out drywall in my bathroom with a claw hammer. I used the claw as a hook and was pulling it off in sheets or big chunks but one real stubborn spot required more force. As I pulled on the hammer with all my strength the claw popped through the drywall sending the handle directly into the side of my nose, shattering it. I looked in the mirror on the door and the tip of my nose was touching my cheek, not wanting to freak out my wife I popped the nose mostly back in place and had her take me to the ER. I ended up needing surgery and got a really straight, nice looking nose out of it. Also dropped many a wrenches on my face, it's never fun.

I hate the hospital! I would hate to break my nose. It reminds me of parks and rec when andy is using a hammer. glad your nose is in good shape!

The funniest part about it was when a police officer came in after the nurse asked my wife to leave the room, they were concerned that she did it because 3 months earlier I was in the ER for stabbing myself in the neck/chin with a steak knife. I was using the knife to cut some duct tape and when the tape let go the knife went almost 2 inches into the soft part under my chin. So the ER thought maybe my wife was trying to kill me. She was 4'10" and under 100 pounds. I had to tell the stabbing and the nose story to about 5 different people plus the nurse and ER doc. I started being more careful after that.

The nurse looked over my medical records and saw the 2 injuries in a short period of time so she was obligated to alert the police. It's hospital policy I guess, probably meant to protect battered women and children. Without context, a stabbing and a shattered nose in 3 months is pretty suspicious. I was in one other time earlier that year for slicing my hand open which needed stitches. I forget what I was doing. That was in my early 20's, I started being less stupid and haven't been back to the ER in 15 years, knock on wood.......
